General Notes
CARTAC Steering Committee members are contacted by Email to inform them of upcoming meetings, and to send them documents related to meetings. Steering committee meetings are generally hosted by Central Banks or Ministries of Finance in one of CARTAC’s member countries. Attendees of steering committee meetings are expected to make arrangements and pay for their own airfares and hotel accommodation costs. Steering committee meetings do not exceed one day in length, and it is sometimes possible for attendees to return to their home countries on the evening of the meeting day.
As part of its ‘green’ policy, CARTAC is attempting to cut down on its use of paper. As a result, meeting attendees will no longer receive hard copies of documents at the meeting, but are asked to print and bring the documents they will need to the meeting.

CARTAC's Steering Committee Meeting will be held on Friday September 10, 2010 at the Accra Beach Hotel & Spa, Christ Church, Barbados.
Welcome Reception
CARTAC will be hosting a Welcome Recption on Thursday, September 9 at 7:30 pm.
This will be an opportunity for everyone to meet the new Director of the Office of Technical Assistance Management at the IMF - Mr. Roberto Rosales, as well as a chance to meet and greet with each other prior to the meeting.
Hotel Accommodation
A Block of rooms has been reserved at the Accra Beach Hotel and you are asked to contact the hotel directly to secure your room booking.
Please note that the deadline for booking under CARTAC's group booking is Friday September 3, 2010.
You should also inform CARTAC of your intention to attend no later than September 3, 2010. Confirmations of attendance should be sent to Lisa Squires (lsquires@imf.org).

CARTAC’s working hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, and 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Fridays. Barbados time is usually the same as or one hour ahead of Eastern Daylight time in the USA, and 4 hours behind GMT.
